BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH:

Dr. Shaswati Roy completed her B.Tech in Information Technology from Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) , Kolkata and M.E. in Information Technology from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She received her Ph.D. degree (Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering of University of Calcutta in April 2021. She carried out her research work at the Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata as its research fellow. She completed her Ph.D. research work under the guidance of Prof. Pradipta Maji.

Currently, Dr. Roy is a faculty member in the Department of Information Technology, RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India.

She has been awarded University Medal for standing first in M.E. She has received the prestigious INSPIRE Fellowship Award of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India for the years 2015-2020.

Her hobbies are reading story books, travelling and sports.
